The story was beautiful and interesting. The characters were fantastic and the author involved the reader as if they were part of it. I loved the giving of the kitchen and the humidity of the characters.

Great story with complicated characters, but very real. I related to Ben and really wanted him to send Lammon to jail but Emily would never have gotten over it and her happiness was more important.

Barely got through the first few chapters, things are bot clearly defined. Characters need to be better introduced bc switching back and forth so much. It's so confusing.
